The same price-quality hotel in Madeira

I chose this hotel to accommodate a group of tourists whom I was taking on my signature tour of Madeira.
I chose carefully, the main selection criteria were: convenient location for walking, good breakfast, spacious new rooms.

Rooms: I recommend choosing rooms with ocean views, it will be beautiful and spectacular: watching the sunset, lunar paths, and the passage of cruise ships to the port. It is worth considering that not all rooms have a full balcony; perhaps it will be a French one. But all rooms have panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows.

Breakfast: tasty, varied, several types of cheese, large selection of fruits and sweets, excellent pastries, omelet station.

Location:
1) although the hotel is located only 400 m from the ocean, there is no direct route to the beach from it. To go to the beach and swim in the ocean, you need to go to the right for about 1 km, there will be an equipped beach with platforms in the ocean, pools on the beach. Entrance is about 2 euros per person, depending on the season.
2) there are several supermarkets near the hotel; you can buy water, sweets and souvenirs close and quickly.
3) right near the entrance to the hotel you can see a small gate - this is the entrance to a beautiful park with magnolias, carved benches, and green spaces.
4) walk to the embankment for about 10 minutes, to the Old Town - half an hour at a leisurely pace.
5) also within a radius of 1 km from the hotel there are many famous restaurants with amazing local cuisine, a walk of no more than 15 minutes to each.

One of the hotel's features: a rooftop terrace. There are several tables and benches on it; you can go up there at any time of the day and enjoy the views of Funchal and the ocean. Since we were there as a group, we spent the evenings there after busy excursion days: we took fruits from the market, nuts, drinks, and sat talking and discussing the past day and planning tomorrow’s walks.

The hotel has outdoor and indoor pools - the indoor pool is heated and has a Jacuzzi section. Near the outdoor pool there is a sufficient number of sun loungers for sunbathing.

There is a bar on site where you can order a variety of cocktails from the menu, including some that can only be tasted in Madeira.
